Travelling With Your Sex Toys

You Don't Have To Leave Your Vibrator At Home

Whatever the reason for your for your stay away from home you don't need to sacrifice those moments of personal fun!

Whether it is a long holiday with lots of sand, sea and sunshine, a romantic city break or a business trip there will always be room in your suitcase for your little toy.

So, you are packed and ready to go. You are ticking your checklist of must have items, tickets, passport, toothbrush, toothpaste, clean underwear, SEXTOYS!

What! Take a vibrator or other sex toy away with you and risk getting caught by someone? What about AIRPORT SECURITY?

Well, why not? Many of today's sex toys are small, discreet and well disguised but if you do get 'caught can you imagine their face when the little 'offender' was discovered.

Ok, so not everyone likes the danger of getting caught doing something illicit, and not everyone gets the same fun from seeing the embarrassed look on an 'officials' face but for those who do, just think about some points.

Travelling can sometimes be very stressful. A typical airport experience can often get your blood boiling.

You wait in queues. You remove some of your clothing, jewellery, put them in a tray, walk through the detector and then put everything back on again.

Try seeing if you can get your toy through the X-ray machine without getting spotted. Relish the anticipation, maybe the guard will notice your toy and you’ll get to say, “It’s my vibrator and It'll certainly give you something to talk about around the dinner table.

Adult Toys are a wonderful way to add something special to any type of trip, and they're perfect stress relievers to help ease the pain of a really bad business trip or a stressful flight.

Sex Toy Travel Tips

Choosing the right sex toys and goodies for your trip:

Sunny Beach Holiday

Consider taking at least one waterproof vibrator. A remote waterproof vibrator is great fun for two to enjoy.

Sexy, Romantic Weekend

This will call for a little bit of everything. To start with, you need to consider the massage oils and creams.  A romantic massage is a must for those special events. Then maybe a romantic game to get you further in the mood along with a flavoured lubricant?

Now what about the sex toy? I think a bit of remote control fun will go down a treat. The Mantric Remote Bullet Vibrator is a quiet, discreet bullet vibe with 6 powerful vibrating functions and a 20ft (7.5 metre) operating range.

The Business Trip

They are often tiring, boring, lonely, and don’t leave you with much free time to play. But that doesn't mean you can't have some fun.

Sex Toys for these trips are discreet and don't necessarily look like sex toys. These sex toys that can be 'whipped out of that briefcase' just at the right moment.

If the weather isn't at it's warmest who is going to bat an eyelid if they happen to see you with a very handy 5 fingered massage glove? There is a little bit of excitement in every finger! If you share a room with a colleague they won't even blink when you have to change into a spare of of knickers - tickling knickers of course!

For those quiet moments at night when your mind just won't switch off. I'm sure a little bit of clitoral stimulation will be very welcomed! Most of them are small and discreet and can easily fit into a briefcase or small travel bag.

Security Friendly Adult Toys

Airport security has stepped up quite a bit in recent times. Every piece of luggage is x-rayed, sometimes hand-searched, so it's important to bring small, simple items that don't look like a dangerous weapon and doesn't set off the metal detector.

There are many small and discreet sex toys on the market and many are disguised as other things such as lipsticks.

Sexy piercings can often set off the metal detector but are less likely to if they are made from Gold, Stainless Steel or Titanium. It seems that metal detectors look for metals that would be in guns and knives. Be aware about travelling with extra metals on your body. Before travelling consider removing the piercings and packing them in a sock or other item of clothing in your main luggage.

Packing your adult toys

If you have the original packaging for your sex toy it is best to keep it inside that. Bottles of any liquid should be as small as possible so buy and pack a few small bottles of lubricant and massage oils etc rather than one big one. Make sure each one isn't completely full as the content can expand in the hold. Wrap them separately in a few spare plastic bags to avoid any damage to your clothes if an accident does occur.

Pack Your Sex Toy Batteries Separately - or batteries for any other gadget for that matter!

Batteries can leak and ruin your clothes or even the sex toy itself. Try packing them in a plastic bag or sock, or indeed both.

Another reason to ensure you don't leave the batteries inside the toy is because it may well 'go off' by accident and start an 'incident'.

Below is a very funny true story so take note!

In July 2002 Delta Airlines was sued by passenger Renee Koutsouradis

Renee and her husband were returning home to Florida after a Las Vegas trip and were awaiting take off. Suddenly, she heard her name over the loudspeaker.

A Delta Airlines security agent met her at the front of the plane and asked her to walk with him to the tarmac. He said something was vibrating in one of her bags.

Renee told the agent what it was - An adult toy that she and her husband had just purchased during their trip to Las Vegas. In spite of this she was forced to open her bag "and told to remove the adult toy and hold it up for visible view.

According to a witness the male Delta staff "began laughing hysterically" and offered "obnoxious and sexually harassing comments."

Thankfully, these incidents are very rare but remember, you have as much right to have a sex toy in your luggage as you would other personal items such as Tampons.

This is a good reminder of why batteries should be taken out before you travel!

Be Organised

Be Respectful and Aware of the social customs and laws of the country you are travelling to. believe for instance in Texas USA, it is still illegal to posses more than 3 sex toys? If anyone knows if this is not the case please let us know.

Ensure you pack any adult stuff in the main luggage and not in your hand luggage as that is more likely to be open to public scrutiny.

Keep A Sense Of Humour

If you do find your luggage is checked don't worry, the staff have seen a lot worse that your Jessica Rabbit and if the worst comes to the worst just laugh it off saying they can tell you intend having a good time!

If you do feel the need to carry adult toy in your hand luggage for 'emergencies' ensure it is a discreet one with no chance of anyone thinking you may be a terrorist, or without the risk of feeling humiliated should security sort through your case in public. A Clitoral stimulator, some love eggs or even some naughty vibrating panties should do the trick. Experienced staff tend to ask if there’s anything embarrassing in your luggage before they look. Or or course, if you have a naughty streak, just let them look and enjoy the looks on everyone’s faces!

Not Enough Luggage Space

Choose one of the smaller sex toys such as the Mini Mite Dolphin Vibrator  which can fit nicely into many purses.

Sharing A Room

Choose a very quiet vibrator like the Silencer, even the mother in law shouldn't figure this one out.

Must Haves

Apart from your toys themselves don't forget your Sex Toy Cleaner, Plenty of Personal Lubricant, and Spare Batteries.

If you are going on holiday without a partner and feel you may have sex with someone don't forget to practise safe sex by using condoms at all times.

This is by no means a definitive list of the choice of sex toys and other fun travel stuff, but it will give you an idea of the things to at least think about.

Now all you have to do is use your imagination and go enjoy...
